David has exhibited in numerous solo, and group shows in the United States. His works are in the collections of the New York Public Library, and the Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, among other public and private collections. He was awarded the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship (1983) and the New York Artists Fellowship (1985). Kathy collaborated with David as master printer from 2001 through 2008.
