Anything that Betrays Perfection Tempts Me

Curated by Taka Maruno

Things that emerge through some kind of action and continue to exist meaninglessly outside of the "sense of beauty" - such things and events reflexively move our senses.

The process of making things and how something is made must be related to events that are far from any logic.
For this reason, the viscosity process tempts me.

The K. Caraccio Fine Art Print Collection is home to more than 5000 original prints and handmade books, collected over more than 40 years by master printer, artist, professor, and collector Kathy Caraccio.

Kathy Caraccio started collecting prints while still in college. Very early in her career, Kathy apprenticed at The Printmaking Workshop, Inc. The witnessing of Bob Blackburn's approach to community making and mutual support decisively influenced the making of K. Caraccio's collection.
