In late November, I spotted the first snow falling over the Port Authority parking area from my studio window. It was very light and then it was gone. It prompted a childhood memory of how much fun I had in the snow. This collection of prints depicts scenes that capture the delight that occurs when white snow covers the grunge of the city. Flakes fall from the sky, snow drifts into mounds, and its accumulation draws children to parks with their sleds. All of this inspires a fond memory of being with siblings and neighbors testing our endurance against the numbness of our fingers, toes, and noses. We would climb the hill once more for the exhilarating rush down whatever incline we could perch upon.
