Teichman, Mary
Born 1954. After graduation she worked at Bob Blackburn’s Printmaking Workshop in New York City and soon after acquired a press and moved into her own studio in Union Square Park. In 1991 she moved her studio into a renovated factory building in New England. Teichman is a member of SAGA, she has received several awards including The New York Society of Etchers, Recognition for Excellence, the Society of American Graphic Artists, John Ross Award. Her works are in the collections of The Brooklyn Museum, NY, Boston Athenaeum, MA, Museum of the City of New York, NY, New York Public Library Print Collection, NY, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC and the Jane Vorrhees Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, NY, among others.
