Born 1947. Daniel Kelly is an American artist based in Kyoto, Japan. Works primarily consist of original paintings and prints. His prints are made on a variety of papers including antique Japanese book pages and papers from Nepal, Thailand and the Philippines, combined as chine-collé at different stages of the printing process. His works are in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn, NY, The British Museum, London and the Library of Congress, Washington, DC.
